Gender Pay Inequality
Women in the US make 78 cents for every dollar a man makes. Women didn't choose to make less money, bias does that. At every level, a woman and man who hold the same job title and description are not compensated equally. In actress Jennifer Lawrence's case, she attributed her shortcomings to not being as good as a negotiator as men in order to come off bratty and needy. It sounds as if when a woman makes demands she is being annoying and trying to be overcompensated, yet, her counterparts have already been overcompensated because they did it in a likeable manner. This discrimination in the workplace and discrepancy of pay has happened far too long it must be fixed rather quickly.
Athletic Sponsorship
Athletes train day in and day out in their respective sport to perform at the highest level they can achieve. Why is it that men are recognized and awarded sponsorship based on skill when women just appear as a competitor with attractiveness that gets the attention of sponsors? Let's face it, as long as women have sex appeal it doesn't matter how talented and skillful they really are. The misogynystic portrayal of women will continue to thrive until women decide not to use their sex appeal to achieve success in unrelated fields to beauty.

Globally, women lack the full realization of their human rights, but continue their fight for equality.
Here are some staggering facts:
1. In 2015, only half of the world's working-age women are in the labor force, compared to 77 percent of working-age men. (Department of Labor)
2. Black women earn 64 cents and Latina women earn 56 cents for every dollar earned by white men. (White House)
3. 62 million girls are denied education all over the world (UN Foundation)
4. 4 out of 5 human trafficking are girls. (Malala Fund)
5. Female genital mutilation affects more than 125 million girls and women alive today. It is recognized internationally as a human rights violation. (WHO)
6. Women around the world aged 15-44 are more at risk from rape and domestic violence than from cancer, car accidents, war and malaria. (United Nations)
For the inequalities society has mistakenly bestowed on women there are some organizations working to change them but there needs to be more people involved.
